"D-Daddy..?" Alia peeked into Tamaki's room, breathing a bit hard, tears running down her cheeks. She was shaking all over, fear and sadness in her eyes. She was too afraid to walk in properly, and stood behind the door, trying to keep her tears at bay. "Daddy, d-do you still l-love me..?" She asked shakily, "You n-never play with me anymore, o-or tuck me in and tell me stories... W-was I a b-bad girl, Daddy..? I'm s-sorry, Daddy... P-please, I want your love again... D-Daddy..."
Tamaki was sitting at his desk, head resting on his arms and his eyes half closed. He had so much work to do, but he was so exhausted that he could barely focus. A quick nap wouldn’t hurt, right… He was just about to drift off to sleep when a soft voice reached his ears. Slowly, he lifted his head and looked over towards the door, eyes widening when he saw Alia. Her question hit him like a punch in the stomach. “What…?” Had he really fallen that far from his job as Alia’s guardian…? He certainly hadn’t meant to. He was just so busy… And he knew that was no excuse. He should still be there for her, putting her needs before his own… He was so selfish…
With a bit more effort than it should have took, he pushed himself out of his seat and made his way over to the blonde girl. His own eyes mirrored her sadness, as well as his fatigue. “Alia…” he murmured softly, kneeling down in front of her. “Sweetheart, I’m so sorry… You haven’t been a bad girl at all. You’re the best little girl I could ever ask for. It’s my fault. I’ve been a bad daddy, and I’m so sorry.” His bottom lip trembled the slightest bit. “Of course I still love you, honey. I will always love you. I’m so sorry…”
